The Final Season was released on the 1st of June and brings to a conclusion one of the most critically celebrated and popular Sci Fi series of the decade. First released in the years following the 9/11 tragedy Battlestar Galactica is a show which has redefined the rules of Sci Fi TV. Sure it has space ships and killer robots, but the show also offers up a mirror to many of the political and ethical problems we are facing in this new century.

Later this year there will be one more Battlestar Galactica mini-movie "The Plan" directed by the "Old Man" himself Edward James Olmos, to be followed in 2010 by the new prequal "Caprica".
