ZACHARY QUINTO IS TO PLAY SPOCK IN THE NEW STAR TREK MOVIE TO BE RELEASED IN 2008

Zachary Quinto, who stars as Sylar in the hit Cult TV series of 2007, Heroes, is to play Mr Spock in the forthcoming Star Trek movie. The movie which is presently filming will be released in 2008.

In addition to Quinto the movie also stars amongst others, Leonard Nimoy as an older Spock, our own Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) as Scotty. Eric Bana (Black Hawk Down and Troy) as a baddy called Nero and Winona Ryder as Amanda Grayson.

Captain James T Kirk will be played by Christopher Pike, an american actor who has appeared in episodes of CSI Miami, Six Feet Under and ER.
