Michael Landes was born on the 18th of September, 1972 in the Bronx New York, he has enjoyed success on both sides of the Atlantic in numerous TV shows. In the 90's he appeared as a regular on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with Will Smith, and in such family friendly shows as The Wonder Years and Blossom. Later in the same decade he landed his first big role when he played Jimmy Olson in Lois & Clark:The New Adventures of Superman for 21 episodes alongside Desperate housewife Terri Hatcher and Dean Cain. After Jimmy Olson his career on Tv struggles a little as he tried to move from roles as a kid to those of a leading man, in 2001 he landed a leading role as Detective Nicholas O'Malley in the US Cop show "Special Unit 2". In 2002 he starred in the Bruce Willis feature film Harts War as Maj. M.F. Giannetti.

From 2004 Michael Landes began to appear on both sides of the Atlantic, In the US in CSI and in the Uk in Agatha Christie Marple. Back in the US in CSI Miami, Peep Show and Ghost Whisperer and in the UK in Love Soup and New Tricks.

Love Soup was the breakthrough role for Landes in the UK he played american comedy writer Gil Raymond. 2010 will see Michael in the romantic comedy feature film Just Wright playing Nelson opposite Queen Latifah, and in the movie My Girlfriends Boyfriend alongside Charmed actress Alyssa Milano and Beau Bridges.

He is married to actress Wendy Benson-Landes and they have two children.
