The stunningly beautiful actress Olivia Wilde plays Dr Remy Hadley aka Thirteen in the David Shore penned award winning TV Drama House M.D. Dr Remy Hadley acquired the nickname Thirteen when in the Third Season in the episode "The Right Stuff", all the participants in the odd competition organised by House to win a position on the Diagnostic team at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital were assigned numbers (House could not be bothered to remember names) she was assigned Thirteen, and it stuck. She liked the "Unluckiness" of it.
Dr Remy Hadley/Thirteen is a secretive character and is very slow to offer up personal details to the team or particularly Dr Gregory House. It is only after some time that it is revealed that the character is bi-sexual and is suffering from the very first stages of a chronic illness. There also a develops and on/off romantic relationship between Dr Forman and Thirteen....
Olivia Wilde was born Olivia Jane Cockburn in New York ion March the 10th 1984.She comes from a family of print and broadcast journalists and writers and her father is Irish. She has both US and Irish nationality and decided on the stage name Wilde out of respect and recognition for Oscar Wilde. She is married to Italian documentary film maker Tao Ruspoli (who also is an Italian aristocrat). They currently live in Venice, California.
Wilde began her acting careerin the TV series Skin in which she played Jewel Goldman alongside heart throb DJ Cotrona. She soon moved on to far wider recognition in the hit series The OC in which she played Alex Kelly. Her other big TV role was as Jenny Reilly (that Irish heritage showing through) in the critically acclaimed TV show The Black Donnellys. On the big screen Olivia has been seen in the award winning films, Alpha Dog and Turistas and will soon be seen in the Sci Fi block buster and Northwood Tron Legacy.
In years to come we are guarenteed to see alot more of this beautiful, talented and adaptable young actress.
