Loving this show when will they make the movie

I loved this show when I was a kid. The idea that these "monsters" were often kinder and more decent than the so called ordinary folk, and they thought they were the normal ones.... very funny.
The Adams Family was very different and a bit more sophisticated having said that, The Munsters would be just as good on the big screen.... when will Universal make the jump?

Fred Gwynn was the star... no doubt about that.

When I was a kid, I was more into The Munsters than the Addams Family.

You'd think that there would be a Munsters movie, especially considering there was an Addams Family movie, wasn't there? So many of these shows are being redone as movies.

maybe the problem is the character who played Herman, they did so well with Raul Julia in the Adams family, although it didn't do him much good

I, too, like The Munsters and dislike The Adams Family. It's just not the same... Probably not meant to be the same, although similar, yet somehow it does not work so well.

I thought there was a movie out?
