Yeah you can be like him, just say something funnier in operating room and say the same when you are amidst your patients. I think this might help you. Go crazy like him. Cheers.

That's the thing: there is no easy way to become like that. I think you've got to get pretty beat up by life, and stand through it strong, first.

If you look into his background, I don't think you would really want to be like him. He had addictions and lots of problems. He is now a realist. Just say what is on your mind and be brutally honest.

Isn't he still fighting addiction and some emotional issues? I mean, he seems to have it all "together," yes, but you can still feel that he does not have inner peace, at least not always.

I don't think he is rude. He is just frank and straightforward, sometimes tactless.

A little bit of arrogance is tolerable. Even for the other doctors around Dr. House, especially because they acknowledge that he is one of the best in his field. You think its rude? Not really.
