'Alfred Hitchcock Presents'- Why is there nothing like this now?

This was great television! But what do we have now that is anything like it? Loads of people enjoy stories with a twist in the tale!

I have to agree with you! I loved Alfred Hitchcock Presents. It was always a mystery that was fun to try and figure out. Today I can't think of anything that even resembles it.

Till to date I cannot forget one thrilling movie of Alfred Hitchcock's, where the mystery sorrounds the `House Door Key.'

The house has only one key and that is in the handbag of the villain's wife.

The villain without the knowledge of his wife get holds of this key.

The villain of the film conspires with an accomplice
(let us call his accomplice as a scoundrel or a murderer) and briefs him how to murder his wife.

The plan is... the murderer will take the key that is kept below the mat on the staircase that runs up outside his house.

The murderer takes the key enters the house to murder the villain's wife. Unfortunately she is able to overcome him and kill him.

The villain telephones his house to know if his wife's murder but is shocked to see his wife speaking back to him.

He comes home running and looks for the key and secretly keeps it back into his wife's bag.

On investigation by the police it is a puzzle how this murderer entered the house when the key is in the handbag of the villain's wife. And mind you there is only one key for this house and the Villain's wife say's that when the murderer entered the house it was locked and the key was right in her handbag.

How this mystery is solved by the investigating team is interesting to watch...

I would have to say no, there is nothing like Hitchcock today, with that twist in it. I always enjoyed his little episodes of twisted thrillers. I always liked the way that they ended. I think that there is a need for somthing similar today.
