Michael Hogan is one of Canada's most respected actors, his wife, Susan, has appeared in dozens of films since the 1970's including The Brood, Narrow Margin and Disturbing Behavior, their son, Gabriel, has worked in both TV and film since his earliest years and starred in the ESPN  drama Playmakers.

 

Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Hogan and his wife Susan have three children actress Jennie Rebecca Hogan, actor Gabriel Hogan, and Charlie Hogan. 

Hogan made his film debut in the Peter Fonda movie High-Ballin' in 1978. He and his wife soon became a popular television couple, as the stars of the Canadian series Vanderberg and the Canadian-German series The Little Vampire. Hogan has also starred on the hit police series Cold Squad. His movies include Stella, Clearcut, Cowboys Don't Cry, Road to Saddle River and The Cutting Edge and the telefilms Shadow Lake, Shadow Realm Dead Man's Gun, Scorn and Nights Below Station Street, for which he received the Manitoba Motion Picture Industry Association's Blizzard Award for Best Leading Actor.

He has guested on such series as Millennium, Andromeda, The Sopranos, The Outer Limits ("Last Supper") and the SCI FI Original series First Wave ("Normal, Illinois"), and in the two-hour premiere of the USA Network series Monk.Michael and Susan Hogan are also both recurring characters (as a married couple) on The L Word.
