Katee Sackhoff was born in Portland, Oregon on the 8th of April 1980. Katee Sackhoff stars as the best pilot on the Batllestar Galactica and goes by the call sign of Starbuck. She has also been seen playing a key role as Sarah Corvus,in NBC's reimagining of Bionic Woman. Corvus was the original Bionic Woman.
Sackhoff moved to Los Angeles as soon as she left school and attracted attention securing leading roles in a variety of film and television projects. It began with a lead role in the MTV pilot Locust Valley, which led to a leading role in the Fox Family Channel series The Fearing Mind and a starring role, opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, in Dimension Films' Halloween: Resurrection.
Sackhoff TV credits include Nip/Tuck, Cold Case, ER, Law and Order. Sackhoff also secured a lead in the series The Education of Max Bickford, in which she played the daughter of Richard Dreyfuss's title character.
Sackhoff will also headline NBC's Dick Wolf (Law & Order)-produced cop drama Lost and Found, which centers on Tessa (Sackhoff), "an offbeat female LAPD detective who, after butting heads with the higher-ups, is sent as a punishment to the basement to work on John Doe and Jane Doe cases." The pilot was filmed in January 2009. No announcement has been made on whether Lost and Found has been picked up to series as yet but fingers crossed.
