We will soon have news on the release of "The Plan" watch this space.
The Cylons were built by the humans of the Twelve Colonies. Cybernetic robots, they were used as soldiers, workers and slaves to fight humanity's wars and toil in his factories. But the Cylons became awoke and they rebelled against their masters, man and the machines fought to a war to a bloody stand still, and the Cylons retreated to a remote and mysterious region ofthe system.
The truce between the Cylons and the himans of the Twelve Colonies lasted for almost forty years. On the anniversary of the treaty-signing, the Twelve Colonies sent an representative to the neutral Armistice Station to meet with the Cylon envoy. For 39 years, no Cylon envoy appeared.
On the Fortieth anniversary, a beautiful blonde (a Cylon in human form) met the human represenatative … moments later the Cylons destroyed the station and launched a total war on the Twelve Colonies.
In one destructive day, billions of humans were consumed in a nuclear holocaust. Only those who by pure luck happened to be travelling aboard aboard space ships were able join the last fleet and escape the end of the Twelve Colonies. The fleet is led by the obsolete Colonial warship, the battlestar Galactica. An unlikely watchdog for the precious remnants of the human race Galactica is old and had been about to be decommissioned and converted into a museum. Commander William Adama and the crew are the saviors of fewer than 50,000 desperate survivors.
The complete destruction of the Colonial government on the central planet Caprica results in the succession of Laura Roslin, Secretary of Education, to the presidency. Laura is the recipient of prophetic visions and as a result of these and political espediency, she directs the fleet upon a trek that will take it into the farthest reaches of the Galaxy … in search of the Earth the mythical, lost "13th colony".
Winner of two Primetime - Emmy Awards, Battlestar Galactica has changed the Sci Fi genre forever. The story of Battlestar Galactica’s epic journey is told through award winning special effects and complex, dark and challenging story lines. Chased across the galaxy by the powerful Cylon fleet, and infiltrated by Cylon agents who appear to be human, nothing will stop them until every human being is dead. Battlestar Galactica leads the remnants of the human race in a rag tag fleet of ships across the vastness of space in search of the mythical lost colony, Earth.
Commander William Adama and President Laura Roslin played by Oscar nominees, Edward James Olmos (Miami Vice) and Mary McDonnell (Dances With Wolves) are the leaders, of what is left military and the government. Faced with difficult choices they would never have had to deal with in the civilised world they have left behind.
Roger D. Moore is the creator of this re-imagined story. Moore won his reputation writing and producing the Star Trek series, Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager, and brings to Battlestar Galactica dark, complex and challenging themes. Themes reflected in the real life, post 9/11 world. Religious intolerance, suicide attacks, insurgency, suspension of civil rights, summary execution and the nature of humanity. This is a Sci Fi show for an intelligent, adult audience, a show which has won a massive global following, since it first appeared in 2003.
Join the crew of Battlestar Galactica and the remnants of the human race as they fight their way to their new home, you won’t regret it and you won’t regret it. "The Plan" is an unusual project as far as its conception goes. The popular and critically acclaimed BSG, came to an end earlier this year, but now we have this additional straight to Blu-ray/DVD project. The Plan is neither a sequel story, nor a traditional prequel. Instead, it takes place parallel to events we saw on the series, specifically ranging from the original miniseries until the end of Season 2.

Caprica is set to premiere on Sci-Fi in February 2010, and has been described as "television's first science fiction family saga". It was originally planned as a 2 hour pilot for a possible weekly television series but on December 2, 2008 Sci-Fi gave the go-ahead to expand the project into a full series. Caprica, as it's name suggests is set on the planet Caprica, one of the twelve colonies, around fifty years before the events depicted in the 2004 re-imagined series. The show revolves around two families, the Adamas and the Graystones, and the building of the Cylons, and the beginnings of the first Cylon War. The pilot has been directed by Jeffrey Reiner (Friday Night Lights),and stars Eric Stoltz, Esai Morales, Paula Malcomson and Polly Walker. 20 hours of Caprica have been commissioned including a two hour pilot.
Set 50 years before “Battlestar Galactica,” “Caprica” follows two rival families – the Graystones and the Adamas. Bound together by tragedy, their ensuing struggle will determine the fate of the 12 Colonies.
“Caprica” is a society rife with advanced technology. Little do they know they are trembling on the brink of the creation of the first cybernetic life-form node, or CYLON.
Passion, intrigue and betrayal set the stage for the coming revolution.
The Graystones and Adamas come from different cultures and wildly different socio- economic backgrounds. Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) is a computer genius and the leading businessman of the 12 Colonies. His wife, Amanda Graystone (Paula Malcolmson) is an elite neurosurgeon. Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) is an immigrant, a lawyer with ties to the mob, and a father who is desperate to reconnect with his estranged son, William (Sina Najafi).
Their bitter rivalry will bring the end of life as they know it. Their children are the future. Caprica image gallery click here
