Certainly one of Oscar® nominated director Michael Mann and Primetime Emmy® Award winning producer Dick Wolf’s greatest achievements. Joining the iconic detective duo in Miami's steamy, hot underworld is a powerful roster of guest stars, including fantastic performances from James Brown, Julia Roberts, Chris Rock and Lori Petty.

First shown in 1984 the series ran until 1989 the show starred Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett and Phillip Michael Thomas as the two vice cops who fight drug trafficking and prostitution every week.
The concept behind the show was "MTV Cops" and the integration of music into the show and the way it was filmed truly broke the mold for Cop Shows in the 80's.
The third star of the show was undoubtedly the exotic sub tropical miami, shown as a glamorous backdrop to shootouts and car chases. And what amazing cars Tubbs & Crocket got to drive. They were able to use a particularly beautiful Ferrari Daytona Spyder confiscated from a Drug dealer.
