Erica Cerra - Josefina "Jo" Lupo

Beautiful Canadian actress Erica Cerra plays the role of tough no nonsense Deputy Josefina "Jo" Lupo in the hit scifi comedy drama A Town Called Eureka. Jo Lupo is one very dangerous lady, she is an ex-army Ranger, skilled in unarmed combat and the use of a huge array of conventional and very unconventional weapons, she is ready for the worst and most violent possible scenario, at any time. Jo Lupino's personal life leaves much to be desired, she finds Eureka does not really have the kind of man she is looking for, that is why she can often be seen scanning the personal ads of the magazine "Modern Mercenary" in attempt to find a suitable partner. She has a soft spot for Jim Taggart and is aware that Fargo has a crush on her unfortunately for Fargo he really is not her type.

Erica Cerra was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the 31st of October 1979 not a million miles away from where the fictional town of Eureka is situated. Erica Cerra began performing as a child. After a hiatus from acting during her teen years, she restarted her career in commercials before moving on to feature films and television.

Erica Cerra's TV work includes roles in Huff, Cold Squad, The 4400, Smallville Reaper and The L Word. Sci Fi fans may recognise her has the character Maya  the mother who adopted the human-Cylon hybrid child of Sharon Valerii on Battlestar Galactica.Erica has also appeared on the big screen, in movies such as Blade Trinity, Man About Town.

Erica Cerra can be seen on the big screen in 2010 in The Stranger in the role of Grace Bishop and in Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightening Thief as Hera.

Erica Cerra presently lives in Los Angeles and she is reported as saying "Cooking to me is like art. I just love making things that taste good and I love making food, yeah. It’s my new thing and it’s the one thing that if I weren’t an actress, I’d probably be a chef.
