Colin Ferguson - Jack Carter

Colin Ferguson plays Jack Carter in the innovative scifi drama/comedy "A Town Called Eureka". Jack Carter is aworking as a US Marshall when he crashes his car on a wet night outside the mysteriously unmarked town of Eureka. His daughter Zoe's latest escapade, has led himon a wild goose chase across the Pacific Northwest in a attempt to bring her back home to LA.

Jack Carter has an IQ of 111, 46 points below that of his daughter and well below that of the residents of Eureka, but what he lacks in academic qualifications he makes up for in street smart knowledge and native wit.

He lives with his daughter in their "AI" home which is run be SARAH.

Colin Ferguson was born in Montreal Canada on the 22nd of July 1972 and received an international upbringing in Canada, Hong Kong and the UKdespite this he remains resolutely Canadian and is loyal to his routes in Quebec. Starting out as a standup comedian Colin Ferguson has worked in hundreds of jobs, amongst which are factory work, planting trees (3000 a day in the canadian back woods) as a model in a shop before becoming an actor.

He has appeared in episodes of such TV shows as Crossing Jordan, The Outer Limits, Becker, Malcolm in the Middle, Coupling, CSI MIami, and many more. He has also appeared  in Feature films and TV movies, and is rumoured to be appearing in the movie Lake Placid 3 next year.

He recently appeared in the romantic comedy Because I Said So, with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, and in the Lifetime telefilm The House Next Door opposite Lara Flynn Boyle (Twin peaks)

His feature-film credits include the upcoming Universal movie Because I Said So with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, Rowing Through, The Opposite of Sex, Guy in Row Five and The Surprise Party. He was a regular on the NBC remake of the hit British comedy series Coupling and the ABC sitcom Then Came You. He has had many guest-starring roles, on such series as Line of Fire, Malcolm in the Middle, Crossing Jordan, Becker and Titus.

Ferguson's love to travel and has been all over the worldhe especially loves to get off the beaten track and go where no tourists ever go. Quite a dangerous if rewarding passtime.
