Lonny Ross - Josh Girard

Lonny Ross stars as Josh Girard on the multi award winning Tina Fey penned comedy smash 30 Rock. The show has just won best comedy emmy twice in a row 2008 and 2009.

Josh Girard was the original male star of the TGS show but was replaced by the unpredictable if not to say umbalanced Tracy Jordan. But Josh being a laid bacl naive but lovable character goes to work performing on the show and occasionally writing, although the other writers really believe he is dumb. He performs impressions and has a number of original characters including "Dr. Ridiculous", a Chinese man named Mr. Wang and Gaybraham Lincoln. He lets slip in one iof the episodes that he was raised by his parents as a girl until he was ten.

Lonny Ross has appeared in films including Paul Soter's comedy "Watching the Detectives" with Lucy Liu and Jason Sudeikis, and can soon be seen in "Good Luck Chuck," Mark Helfrich's comedy starring Dane Cook and Jessica Alba. In 2008, Ross will appear in "The Rocker," starring Rainn Wilson and Christina Applegate, and "College Road Trip," starring Martin Lawrence and Raven Symone. No stranger to the live stage, he has performed in and around New York City doing stand-up and live sketch comedy. He will also be seen in Lindsey Lohans movie Labour Pains next year.

Ross has been around the TV scene from the  production  side working behind-the-scenes on many production crews, such as HBO's hit series "Sex and the City" as well as "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and NBC's Golden Globe nominated series "Ed."

He also worked as an Intern for Conan O'Brien and regular guest on 30 Rock.

He is single and lives in New York
