Judah Friedlander - Frank Rossitano

Judah Friedlander plays the vulgar, crass and smartass staff write on TGS, Frank Rossitano. Always playing tricks on his fellow writers and ready with an acid comeback, Jack is sexist, vulgar and probably smells. He wears trademark base ballcaps for which the actor Juday Friedlander makes up the phrases. Phrases which have appeared on the show are: Extra Sausage, Joystick Master, Bigfoot Expert,Karate Sluts,Smells, Squeeze It.... you get the idea. 

Frank dropped out of law school to become a writer, in one episode he decides to leave the show and take up his original career. It is only when his mother advises him that all his relatives were mob lawyers and thus eaither had been rubbed out or were in the witness protection programme that he relents and stays.

Judah Friedlander was born in Maryland in 1969 and is known in the US for his work in stand up, his TV and his film work. He is one of those rare talented artists who can write, act in drama and be very very funny in comedic roles. He began his career as Chris Rock's soundman but soon made his way in front of the camera and onto the stage where he clearly belongs.

He has appeared on TV in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Spin City and The Flight of the Conchords. And in such movies as Zoolander, Starsky & Hutch, (he is a close friend of Ben Stiller), The Wrestler amongst others.

Judah Friedlander is an avid soccer fan his forthcoming movie projects include Beware the Gonzo and Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever

Friedlander currently is writing and developing movie projects and working on two CD's, a DVD and a book of his stand-up material.

Freidlander is single and currently resides in New York.

Friedlander is clearly an acting and comedic talent who will entertain us for years to come.
